Key Rental Terms (Summary)
1. Rental Term & Pricing
Rental terms range from 1 to 12 months. Longer terms offer lower monthly rates. Pricing is automatically calculated based on the selected rental duration.
2. Order, Deposit & Rush Fee
A deposit (typically $100) is required at the time of order.
The deposit is refundable within 24 hours; after that, it is non-refundable. It will be applied toward the first payment upon delivery.
Rush fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once paid.
3. First Payment
The first payment is completed on-site after delivery, installation, and handover.
Short-term (1–3 months): Full rental amount + applicable taxes (credit card, cash, or Interac e-Transfer accepted).
Long-term (4–12 months): First three months’ rent + applicable taxes (credit card only).
4. Ongoing Payments
For rental terms longer than 3 months, payments are made monthly starting from Month 4.
Monthly rent is based on the selected rental term (different terms may have different monthly rates), plus applicable taxes.
5. Automatic Billing (Long-Term Only)
Starting from Month 4, rent and applicable taxes will be automatically charged to the credit card.
A valid credit card must be on file and must be the same card used for the first payment (Visa / Mastercard / American Express).
6. Failed Payments
If a charge fails, the customer will be notified, and the system will retry within 2–3 business days.
If payment remains outstanding, services may be suspended or terminated, and outstanding balances and related costs may be pursued. We reserve the right to report to relevant credit agencies as permitted by law.
7. End of Term / Renewal
If the furniture is not returned at the end of the term, the rental will automatically continue on a month-to-month basis. The rental may be ended at any time thereafter without additional termination fees.
8. Early Termination
Early termination during a fixed term will incur a fee (the lower of 50% of the remaining rent or the recalculated rent difference based on actual usage).
9. Use & Damage
Normal wear and tear is not chargeable.
If damage beyond normal use renders the furniture unsuitable for future rental, the customer must, subject to our approval, either provide a replacement item of comparable condition or compensate based on fair market value, and cover any related handling and transportation costs.
10. Taxes
Applicable taxes in British Columbia (BC) total 12% (GST + PST), and are charged together with rent.
11. Ownership
All furniture remains the property of the company. The rental provides usage rights only and does not constitute ownership transfer or purchase credit.
