CHITU Moving focuses on smaller moving jobs involving a limited number of furniture items and personal belongings. Our services are suitable for students, tenants, single-room moves, small residential moves, furniture transportation, pickup and delivery, furniture assembly, and unwanted furniture removal.

🚚 Small Moving Services

Our small moving service is suitable for:

  • Student moves;
  • Single-room and shared-house moves;
  • Small residential moves;
  • Moving a limited number of furniture items and personal belongings;
  • Short-distance moves within the same building or between nearby locations.
1 cargo van + 1 mover: $70 per hour, plus a return-trip fee

The final cost depends on travel distance, item quantity and dimensions, floor level, elevator access, parking conditions, moving difficulty, and the total time required.

📦 Pickup and Delivery

We provide pickup and delivery services for furniture and other large items purchased from:

  • IKEA;
  • Costco;
  • Furniture stores;
  • Facebook Marketplace;
  • Vanpeople and other local platforms;
  • Local private sellers;
  • Online retailers and e-commerce platforms;
  • Other local pickup locations.

Each job is quoted separately based on the pickup and delivery locations, item dimensions, number of items, floor level, elevator access, parking, and on-site moving conditions.

🔧 Furniture Disassembly and Assembly

We provide disassembly, moving, reassembly, and installation services for many common types of furniture, including:

  • Bed frames;
  • Dining tables and chairs;
  • Desks;
  • Wardrobes and storage cabinets;
  • Dressers;
  • TV stands;
  • Bookshelves;
  • Other common household furniture.

Large furniture may need to be disassembled when it cannot safely pass through a doorway, hallway, elevator, or stairway. We can take it apart before the move and reassemble it at the new location.

Assembly and disassembly fees are quoted separately based on the furniture type, quantity, structure, and complexity.

🗑 Junk and Unwanted Furniture Removal

We provide paid removal services for damaged, unusable, or unwanted furniture and household items.

Common removal items include:

  • Old bed frames and mattresses;
  • Old sofas;
  • Damaged tables and chairs;
  • Cabinets and bookshelves;
  • Items left behind after a move;
  • Unwanted furniture that must be removed before moving out;
  • Small amounts of household junk and bulky waste.

Removal fees depend on the item type, quantity, size, weight, floor level, access conditions, and disposal costs.
